Dental Bonding vs. Veneers
Dental Bonding vs. Veneers
Simply put, dental bonding is a branch of cosmetic dentistry that deals with the way out to improve the appearance of mouth and brighten the smile of a patient/individual. In fact, dental bonding, also known as tooth binding, is the easiest procedure to improve your smile. Tooth bonding uses a special tooth-coloured resin that gets applied to the tooth and then the tooth is hardened using a special light. So, you can say that the binding is actually between the tooth and the resin. This bonding helps the tooth, either to restore it or to improve its appearance.
We are second to none when it comes to providing exquisite quality dental bonding in Philadelphia. We provide Dental bonding to treat a number of dental inconveniences that include but not limited to
A chipped tooth can be transformed into a naturally shaped tooth
Badly stained teeth are magically restored.
Gaps and spaces can be fixed with Dental Bonding
We do not have to prepare much in dental bonding. Contrary to what most of the clinics of today do, we do not use Anaesthesia to each and every patient. It is used when and only when the bonding is being used to fill decayed tooth. Our highly skilled, qualified, knowledgeable and experienced dentists use a shade guide in order to select a composite resin colour that completely matches the colour of the tooth of our patient.
The process of bonding starts with treating surface of the tooth. It is roughened and a conditioning liquid is applied. This process is performed in order to help the bonding material adhere to the tooth. After this process gets completed, resin is applied, moulded and smoothed to the desired shape.
In order to harden the material, an ultraviolet light or laser is used. After the process of hardening the material, our dentists trim and shape the teeth and polish to match the sheen of the rest of the tooth surface.
Though the time period of the completion of dental bonding may vary minutely from person to person, but by and large it takes about 30 to 60 minutes per tooth to complete.
